‘620/650 Ambient Temperature Specimen Transport Pack’ with fibreboard outer box, 5 x EPS stabilising inserts, re-sealable plastic liner bag (Primary Receptacle), 850 mL HDPE round jar with 90 mm screw closure and o-ring gasket (Secondary Package) and 4 x absorbent pads for transport at ambient temperature.

If transporting UN 2814 or UN 2900 place the 6.2 Class label over the UN 3373 label, and mark proper shipping name over ‘Biological Substance Category B’ marking.
The absorbent material supplied absorbs up to 200 mL of product. Additional absorbent pads can be purchased separately.

Assembly & configuration of packaging

Place specimen inside the re-sealable bag. Re-sealable bag is placed inside the 850 mL HDPE jar. The void space is filled with shredded paper and the jar is closed. The box is assembled using the self locking system. EPS stabilising inserts are placed around the inside of the box and the jar is inserted into the box. EPS stabilising insert is placed on top of the jar and the top flaps of the fibreboard box are closed and sealed using self locking tab. Add the required amount of absorbent material if specified. Label the box as required.
